Initially we were not going to make Hog Maw for January, however we got so many requests – here we are.
Hog Maw, Macaroni & Cheese, Stewed Tomatoes, Buttered Peas & Applesauce for $13.50 per meal. These are heat n eat, served in a sturdy microwave/dishwasher safe container with locking lid.
We fresh grind the pork butt here just before we add the potatoes and stuff the maw. Potatoes are locally supplied by Rexroth’s in Red Lion. The pork & maws usually come from Groff’s Meats in Elizabethtown or Ken Weavers in Wellsville.
The recipe: pork, potatoes, salt & pepper. That’s it.
